So, I am one of those moms who is a wee bit type A. Thus, I am already working on my goals and to do lists (e.g. personal, professional, family, financial, house projects, etc...) for 2012. In doing so, I came across the idea of PhoGo's. The idea is to write down your goal, take a picture of you and the goal you wish to achieve, and share it publicly so your friends and family can be a support system for you as well as hold you accountable.
The one I created was more professional in nature, but PhoGo's can obviously be personal, crafty, professional, educational, family, physical, behavioral, etc...
Here are some examples I came across for PhoGo's.
Goal-Setting Tools for Adults: Check out these other tools for sharing your goals and progress: 43 Things & FutureMe.Org (see full blog post for examples and detailed descriptions).
Goal-Setting Tools for Children & Students: Check out these sites for tools that will assist children and students in setting, managing, tracking, and achieving their goals: Goalforit, Shelfari, Reading Rewards, To me By me, and PicCal Lite (see full blog post for examples and detailed descriptions).
Please share your goal(s) (and any tools for achieving them) for 2012 in the discussion board.
Win a $15 gift card to Starbuck's (my apologies to those of you who have a goal of relinquishing your addiction to caffeine): Now to the contest...please submit your goal or goals for 2012.
- All comments will be entered in a random drawing for a $15 gift card to Starbuck's.
- Email your PhoGo to firstname.lastname@example.org (as well as leave the written goal in the discussion board) and your entry will count thrice (once for the discussion comment and twice for the pic)!
- Please submit before Tuesday January 31st, 2012 to be eligible.
